Favorite Looks From Collina Strada FW20
Hillary Taymour, designer of Collina Strada wants us to become garden hoes. In fact the entire theme of the show was “Garden Ho”. Sustainable living continues to be the brand’s outward message, as we are all consumers, it’s our responsibility and privilege to find better ways to reduce waste. The Fall-Winter 2020 collection and the runway show itself presented a much kinder, thoughtful, funner and brighter future for all of us. Collina Strada was one of the first fashion brands (at least in my opinion) that always wore its political, social and environmental heart on its sleeve (pun intended). Through whimsy and perhaps imagination mixed with ambition that sustainability can exist for everyday fashion, Taymour is taking full strides and realistic efforts to do so, and not just mentioning it in a Instagram caption or headline.
