Fashion Twins: Ami and Aya of Amiaya

Japanese influencer twins Ami and Aya, or together known as Amiaya, are taking the fashion world by storm with their unique Tokyo style. This pair started from Harajuku street snaps, but have rose to fame for their bold, eccentric style. Since then, they have embarked on numerous creative endeavours, including modelling and DJing. They have even released a few singles together under the name Amiaya. With matching bright pink hair and coordinating outfits, they are fueling fashion’s obsession with twins, and are being booked left and right for their aesthetic and creative expression as a duo. They are also creative directors of their own brand, Jouetie.

Their distinctive approach to fashion is a fresh perspective in the industry and takes Japanese style to a global spotlight. Ami and Aya are now seen in fashion weeks all over the globe, collaborating with international brands including Dior and Kenzo. Their once vintage denim and T shirt street style is now incorporated with high end pieces. One of their most recent projects includes shooting pre-fall outfits for Vogue Hong Kong’s digital issue. These outfits featured Dior, Valentino, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Versace, Miu Miu, and Fendi.
