Louis Vuitton Gives Us Stranger Things / SS18
Nicolas Ghesquière took Louis Vuitton on to a Marie Antoinette-goes-grunge journey for the Spring/Summer 2018 collection, which took place at the Louvre’s Pavillon de l’Horlog. With elaborate stone walls as fortresses, the runway procession took on the theme of the Netflix hit Stranger Things, at least that's what the music eluded to as well as the infamous t-shirt merch. It definitely got our attention and has gone viral in itself, but the collection reveled in brocade costumery and sportswear influences.
