Marc Jacobs Fall 2021 is Fashion's Reawakening
Designer Marc Jacobs like most of us, has come out of hiding. With him he brings along a newfound air to this new world we live in and within the fashion industry, an evaluation and renovation that is very necessary. The pandemic is reflected in the Fall-Winter 2021 collection, what could either be a nostalgic pov of how it was once upon a time or it could also remain in our near future. It’s really up to us isn’t it.
So much personal thought and perseverance went into the season’s pieces and much precaution was enforced for the very first fashion show since New York’s reopening. All invited guests were required to show proof of vaccination. The designer’s show notes reveal how this collection and this show at this very moment in time will prove to be an important piece of nostalgia in years to come.
