Maryam Nassir Zadeh wants women to incorporate swimwear into their everyday wardrobes. For the designer living in fast paced New York City, the feelings and urges of wanderlust creeps in far too frequently. For spring/summer 2019 she wanted to bring some of that energy and lust for travel getaway into pieces that already fit into a woman’s modern, chaotic lifestyle. Another thing comes to my mind with this collection is the worthy Manhattan muse, Carrie Bradshaw. Here is a quintessential working woman who successfully translated offbeat with fashion. Nowadays it is simple enough to mix in a bikini bra into your wardrobe. And if not for the style of it, but one should always be dreaming of getting away.
