Molly Goddard designs for the tomboy belles and now, the boys of the ball. Goddard debuted menswear in her fall-winter 2020 collection, lads in schoolboy plaids and countryside sweaters. As for the women, she can marry showstopper ruffles with a knit top and complete it with combat boots for that London punk vibes.
In an interview with Vogue, “The little girl is me!” said Goddard backstage at the show this afternoon. “I remember those times growing up in Notting Hill so fondly, and really wanting to get dressed up for the market and all the characters who lived there.” Goddard never fails to give us a fanciful reason to get dressed up, while remaining to be our unique selves.
