Product Review: Muri Lelu Mauvaise Herbe Indica Oil
In the simplest terms, Muri Lelu is a game changing skincare brand that’s made by a flower. The ingredients list reads like a floral shop menu, full of anti-inflammatory components. You have your star player, the Cannabis Sativa Extract, which is rich in antioxidants, and a natural source of vitamins A, D, E and essential fatty acids. Thus, cannabis can really increase hydration and moisture for your face.
This women-owned brand believes in the cannabis’ therapeutic properties and its potent, all natural plant cannaboids or phytocannabinoids (like CBD and THC). They work as active receptors in our brain and body allowing relaxation, which then reduces inflammation. Mauvaise Herbe is French for weed and Muri Lelu’s Indica Oil was my first go at cannabis skincare. I was surprised in the most pleasant way.
Will you get a “high” from using cannabis on your face? No. Although, it took me a short while to get used to the pure scent of indica right under my nose (literally) and on my cheeks, forehead and neck. Don’t worry the scent doesn’t linger for long.
The last two months I’ve been using this facial oil, there have been no blemishes. Not one blemish. Not even a period zit. And it has reduced any redness. I love waking up and seeing my face in the mirror, even after a long night of Netflix and wine.

When to use it: Every night as part of your skincare ritual.
Just dab a few drops on your forehead, cheeks, wherever you need the most moisture. Rub the remainders on to your neck and hands.
How does it feel? Soothing and protective. In the mornings my face, especially around the side and cheek area feels very smooth and I adore how it keeps my skin luminous. This is not a heavy oil, and less is more, depending on your skin’s need for total hydration.
Is it working? I think so, at least for myself. I’ve always believed that flowers held a magical key to the skin, from rosehips and sunflowers and now the almighty, 100% natural cannabis with its full spectrum of anti-aging antioxidants, vitamins and essential fatty acids. I have never been blemish free and yet while using the Mauvaise Herbe Indica Oil, my skin has never felt this good or healthy.
Is it worth the $$? Yes, I believe so. If you can budget for this price point, definitely go for it. It’s a good price to pay for 100% clean skincare. Have I mentioned that I’m blemish free?
