Made by Gather, a B2B portfolio of kitchenware and home brands, is looking for a Sr. Brand Designer for our Beautiful by Drew Barrymore brand. This role is remote- East Coast hours- and reports to the Design Director.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 5 years experience taking brands from concept to commercialization at scale (i.e., across multiple product categories and asset formats)
Minimum 3 years experience in packaging design across multiple product categories
Private brand and/or celebrity brand development experience is a plus
Excellent sketching (digital and/or hand sketching) skills and idea development techniques to create and communicate concepts
Strong typography and layout sensibility
Comfort level raising a flag and keeping others informed to avoid unnecessary surprises
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to interact and work with staff at all levels; “no ego,” get it done mindset
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with vendors to develop packaging dielines based on product category
Create packaging direction for vendor execution
Collaborate with Creative Services, Product Management and Marketing teams to drive design thinking from ideation through concept development, refinement, and execution
Create high quality brand design solutions including brand guidelines, style guides, and 360 visual identity toolkits by directly executing design and leveraging internal/external design resources
Create and/or revise design projects, from concept to production, for print and digital needs in consultation with the Design Director and Creative Services Operations Director
Iterate on designs based on direction and feedback from Design Director
Design in alignment to evolving brand standards with emphasis on brand consistency
Accurately produce brand assets/imagery
Present design concepts in a clear and concise manner, verbally and visually
Quickly sketch ideas to create and communicate concepts
Ideate and construct ideas within a team-based design environment
Review and approve 360 brand assets for multiple categories: kitchen electrics, cookware, bedding, bath, furniture, tabletop, etc.
Liaise with licensees as needed to communicate feedback on brand assets
Assist with art direction and storyboarding for photo and video shoots
Consistently meet project deadlines and maintain a high level of work while managing multiple projects
Contribute in brainstorm sessions and consistently use sense of creativity and good design judgment in developing and applying consumer, market, and retail trends
