REQUIREMENTS
5+ years experience running the social media strategy for a brand or company.
Proven track record of developing content campaigns across multiple platforms and multiple formats.
Prior experience and/or passion for the beauty industry is a plus.
Keen attention to detail.
Deep understanding of how brands should use social authentically.
Proficient in performing quantitative analysis on new follower acquisition/engagement and social media conversions.
Experienced team player with the ability to work and collaborate with a variety of internal stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent communication (written, oral, interpersonal) and grammar skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive work environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute the design vision and strategy for Cult Gaia, ensuring brand consistency and pushing creative boundaries following seasonal and brand direction.
Conceptualize and develop original, trendsetting designs for social media content, brand campaigns, and marketing materials.
Craft visual stunning and cohesive graphics that enhance the brand's storytelling and elevate the overall customer experience.
Provide creative direction and mentorship to junior designers, guiding them in producing high-quality designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design strategies with business objectives.
Marketing Content Creation:
Develop engaging and visually appealing content for all Marketing channels, including Emails, Ads, Texts, Instagram and other social media platforms.
Manage creation and execution out-of-home advertising including, but not limited to billboards, signage, and published materials for marketing circulation.
Manage creation and execution all event based-promotional materials such as invitations, branded assets, etc.
Manage creation and execution all of collection-launch related assets – including, but not limited to website visual updates, promotional and marketing materials.
Collaborate with the social media team to create on-trend graphics, animations, and interactive elements to drive audience engagement and brand loyalty.
Visual Branding, Assets and Identity:
Execute original content by determining the ideal use of color, text, font style, imagery and layout based on brand identity.
Maintain and enhance the visual identity of the brand across all marketing materials, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines determined by Art Department.
Manage creation of visually appealing print materials such as product packaging, event banners, and promotional materials.
Collaborate with external vendors and print houses to ensure high-quality production and delivery.
Brand Guidelines and Standards:
Manage the update and maintenance of brand guidelines and design standards with collaboration alongside Art Director.
Enforce design consistency and adherence to brand guidelines across all design work with other team members.
Photoshoots:
Assist in the management and execution of all Ecommerce, Content, and Campaign photoshoots.
Manage the photo selection and retouching process handled by Production.
Create and execute style-out documents for all photoshoots.
Look Books:
Work closely with the creative and photography teams to design eye-catching seasonal look books, campaign visuals, and promotional materials for the Wholesale team.
Ensure that all fashion-related designs reflect the brand's personality and positioning in the luxury fashion market.
Project Management:
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to define project requirements and objectives.
Maintain a content calendar to ensure content is planned on time and in accordance with Ecommerce and Marketing calendar dates
Manage the organization and uploading process for all project and content materials based on current filing systems.
Trend Research and Innovation:
Stay informed about the latest design trends, fashion industry developments, and social media innovations.
Apply insights from trend research to inform and enhance Cult Gaia's visual storytelling in coordination with Art Department
Content Strategy:
Develop and implement a content strategy that supports the organization's objectives, including brand awareness, lead generation, customer retention, and thought leadership.
Understand the target audience and create content that resonates with their needs, interests, and pain points, while maintaining overall brand vision.
Manage creation and curation of content for various digital mediums, such as websites, social media, email, and other platforms, to distribute created content effectively.
Monitor and analyze content performance through analytics tools, making data-driven decisions to improve engagement and reach.
Develop and execute content promotion strategies, including social media advertising, email campaigns, and partnerships with influencers.
Collaborate with Art Director and Ecommerce Director to enhance content and user experience to drive brand and revenue growth.
