This is a full-time design position creating production-ready prints and patterns for womenswear and accessories.
REQUIREMENTS
Meticulous attention to detail with files and follow-through.
Strong organizational skills, accountability in meetings with taking notes.
Ability to work independently, but also a team player and collaborator.
Excellent color sense and understanding of color balance and relationships.
Ability to create original, on-brand artwork when needed.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
Knowledge of Pointcarre, PLM a plus, but not essential.
Passion for vintage, textiles, art, sustainability a plus.
2-4 years minimum experience.
Office is hybrid/flexible but candidate must be based in the New York Metropolitan area and able to come into the office as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports CAD team with interpreting, adapting, and creating artwork of all kinds, including floral, conversational, abstract, paisley, geo prints for all categories.
Scan, clean, color-reduce, and create repeats from vintage or purchased samples.
Interpret mainline prints for other categories including accessories, sweaters and swim.
Color prints into seasonal palettes, via specific direction or independently, as needed.
Finalize artwork for factory production.
