Urban Outfitters is Hiring a Photo Studio Coordinator (Philadelphia)
Reports to: Senior Photo Studio Manager
Overview: The Men’s Studio Coordinator is responsible for maintaining studio process as determined by Studio Manager and Director of Studio Operations and ensures that all product moves through the studio workflow in an organized and efficient manner. The Men’s Studio Coordinator will work closely with merchants and Ecomm studio teams to ensure sample accuracy while assisting with operational tasks in the Women’s and Home studio to balance the workload.
REQUIREMENTS
Understanding of the UO brand, as well as the customer and applicable trends
Must be a self-starter and able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume studio
Excellent organizational, time management and detail-oriented skills
Ability to work well in a creative teamwork-oriented environment through strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines
Must be enthusiastic about working with entire Photo Studio team for the successful and complete production of photography services for Urbanoutfitters.com
Ability to positively and constructively respond to technical and creative feedback
Professionally represent the Photo Studio team
Interest in production aspects of styling and overall vision of product merchandising for UrbanOutfitters.com
Experience with Microsoft Outlook required
Experience with product inventory management systems is a plus
Previous experience in a creative workplace, agency, photo studio, is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage weekly handoff process for the stylists
Communicate requests to buyers for monthly product projections for the Studio Manager’s use
Record all handoff coming into the Men’s Studio and scan into digital workflow systems
Audit all samples, both in handoff and in styling bays, to assure all have attached tags for scanning
Identify and report mistakes in handoff and any product issues to relevant buyers for quick solution
Assist Digital Tech and Styling team on-set to ensure accurate scanning of product for the website’s “Shop the Look” functionality
Seek missing product information for studio shoot and tracking purposes
Track and report sample location within the studio process on a regular basis, as well as when called for by merchants and photo teams
Audit RNA (received, not activated) report, and reply to relevant teams on status of product
Track and manage product with special circumstances (reshoots, added shots, etc.) to assure due process
Work closely with Ops and Styling teams to organize priority product and communicate those priorities to relevant photo teams
Update Styling Bays Weekly to assure out of date product/markdowns are removed
Manage Weekly Sample Return to Buyers
Manage editorial and marketing sample handoff, shipment, return, and tracking
Attend marketing hand off meetings, direct feedback meetings, and relevant product meetings with Merchants and Creative team
