In the grand tradition of spring cleaning, or how Marie Kondo refers to as keeping things that only spark you joy jewelry is one of those sentimental items in your posession that should only bring you joy.
During 2020-2021 lockdown I made sure that everyday I would dress myself up, even if it was to fancy up a gray sweatshirt, a necklace would always do the trick. Accessorizing well for Zoom calls became just as important as brushing my hair. And now I have fallen in love with necklaces, more so than earrings. They offer the perfect, quick “tidy up” even if you’re going to pick up some oatmilk at the corner market.
