In the grand tradition of spring cleaning, or how Marie Kondo refers to as keeping things that only spark you joy - jewelry is one of those sentimental items in your posession that should only bring you joy.
During 2020-2021 lockdown I made sure that everyday I would dress myself up, even if it was to fancy up a gray sweatshirt, a necklace would always do the trick. Accessorizing well for Zoom calls became just as important as brushing my hair. And now I have fallen in love with necklaces, more so than earrings. They offer the perfect, quick “tidy up” even if you’re going to pick up some oatmilk at the corner market.
