The trench coat is a classic, a staple, an essential in every closet. But don’t let that fundamentality fool you, it can pack a punch. Francoise Hardy is my personal trench coat icon. I mean, the image of the Yé-Yé singer in a tartan lined trench, square oversize shades, and a vintage camera could easily fit in with the street style shots of today.
