Collina Strada SS21 Is An All-Inclusive Virtual Reality
Designer Hillary Taymour along with Charlie Engman directed Collina Strada’s spring-summer digital presentation with the brand’s continual theme and message of climate change awareness. Taymour has really built a strong community of creative artists and people who are genuinely passionate about global causes, which is what makes this video extra special. This video represents a new virtual world of inclusiveness, joy, bountiful farm lands and much needed social activism. Artist Sean-Kierre Lyons whose “By Any Means Necessary” series connects Black folklore minstrel and personal experiences is used heavily throughout the video. As if the 3-D animations and digital graphics weren’t mesmerizing enough, Collina Strada now has its own soundtrack song “Change is Cute” by David Prost.
The spring 2020 collection is a series of reworked looks from classic Collina Strada pieces made from sustainable fabrics.
