Bay Area native Grace Ahlbom has made a name for herself as a photographer and artist. The twenty-three year old resides in Brooklyn and like many young talents of her generation takes the daily nuances of life and makes it into some kind of eye candy. During her college days at Pratt, Ahlbom gained entry into the art world from with a modeling gig on photographer Ryan McGinley's projects. Her BFA thesis was a first solo exhibition, "Dig In Your Heels, Stick To Your Guns" equipped with skate ramps, portraits and still life shots in reflection of Ahlbom's personal boyhood.

A total of three exhibitions just in 2016 now under her belt, Ahlbom's recent project, "Pure, Desire" is a collaborative effort between her and artist/videographer Julian Klincewicz. Debuted in March "Pure, Desire" is an introspection into the lethargy of teenage Icelandic boys. Yes, the artists traveled to Iceland to observe and interact with basically the male species in the pubescent stages in life.
