Think The Talented Mr. Ripley. She's Dicky Greenleaf's close cousin who's joined him and socialite girlfriend Marge Sherwood on a French Riviera holiday. Ciao Lucia! is a newly launched California label designed by Lucy Akin. The designer is also the founder of one of our favorite e-com sites and L.A. boutique Shop Super Street.  Inspired by jet set holidays in the Amalfi Coast and French Riviera, the collection highlights travel pieces that suits the "Lucia" type girl who needs a bandeau top for day to night. Ciao Lucia! plays into Akin's childhood nostalgia of collecting vintage postcards from Italy and her massive study abroad trips to Italy, Cannes and Paris. It was in Rome that she was given the nickname "Lucia". The photography and styling are spot on as it feels like the girl in an old Italian movie poster. We love this line, because it serves a specific purpose and the quality of fabrics in soft silks, gauze and washed cottons makes you feel like you're on a romantic European getaway.
