Review: Feuillete Skincare

@dnamag.co Feuillete Skincare review

Feuillete doesn’t want to fix you. As a skincare line it simply wants to enhance your natural glow so that you can be the best version of yourself. Clean, non-toxic ingredients that are natural such as algae for vitamins A,B, C and E, fig to improve skin texture and hyper-pigmentation, and fermented red ginseng to stimulate collagen synthesis to increase skin elasticity and tons of other ingredients that nourishes your skin. When starting a new product, I have to fall in love with the ingredients first. Our modern lifestyles require us to do so.

SMOOTH WATER ESSENCE ☆☆☆☆☆

The Smooth Water Essence is being used as my toner slash essence (although on heavier makeup days I will still use an actual toner prior). This leaves your face feeling and looking refreshed and how could it not when it includes a high percentage of saccharomyces ferment filtrate. That’s the semi-clinical way of saying that it’s water from fermenting and filtering yeast. Don’t get fooled, that’s actually very good for your skin and it’s exactly what it needs on a daily basis. Niacinamide is vitamin B that’s necessary to help uneven skin tone, reduce wrinkles and dullness. It also includes centella asiatica, an herb popularly known to calm inflammation, build collagen and improve circulation, probably due to the tons of beta carotene, amino acids and fatty acids it contains.

I apply this morning and night and it’s like my face has a clean palette. Not sure if it is actually brightening my skin, but the hydration is 100% there.

FRESH INTENSIVE CREAM ☆☆☆☆☆

I do feel like I have brand new skin after every application. This is my moisturizer for morning and night and small amounts go a long way. This is where the fermented red ginseng and niacinamide comes in to seal in the moisture and hydration. I love that it’s unscented and that it really does brighten my skin afterwards. It leaves it with a dewy glow. Essentially, that is the holy grail of creams and moisturizers. If you’re looking for that dewy magic look, then I highly recommend using this as an everyday cream.

Both products are so lightweight, yet heavy with nutrients. I started using the Smooth Water Essence and the Fresh Intense Cream at the start of fall season and now that it’s winter, I’m noticing how my skin is retaining moisture with no dullness. So, Feuillete does not disappoint in the glow department, thus the five star ratings.
