Who stages an event, much less a runway show under the Eiffel Tower? Saint Laurent accomplished such a feat and in the most fantastical, glitzy, glamorous fashion (pun intended). Anthony Vaccarello brought the Spring/Summer 2018 runway collection and paid tribute to the recently passed Pierre Berge, who now rests peacefully with his companion/business partner Yves Saint Laurent himself. The collection itself appeared like moving art pieces, everything in statement form, down to the supersized boots. Vaccarello succeeded in presenting one of the most glamour hyped runway shows in ode to the brand's legacy and brought the Saint Laurent party girls to the forefront in the City of Lights.
