Summer in the City
Summer in the city does require one to actually live in the city or at least live a few train rides away to galavant within the city. Normally for city dwellers, the summer activities include people watching, dining, dancing on the streets, bike ride along a romantic body of water, or even something as simple as sitting on a stoop and talking amongst friends.
The outfit is never over conceptualized, because it’s sweltering hot and while you still aim to look good, being comfortable is also part of the style. Enter the default summer dress. During not so humid days, a white crisp poplin that shows off your tan legs from a recent trip to the beach, a pair of ballet flats and of course the bag roomy enough for the apples you picked up from the farmer’s market.
