My favorite day of the week is in fact Sunday, mainly the morning. It’s been awhile since I’ve experienced the overhyped buzzkill of “Sunday scaries.” I just figured that it was a predicament that only suburbanites suffered from. What I get out of my blissful Sundays is probably far removed from someone who lives a ten minute drive to their nearest cafe or coffee spot. A city girl only needs to walk no farther than two blocks to grab morning bagels and an iced matcha latte.
Even if you don’t reside in city blocks, a Sunday should always have the feeling of calm and slowness. Easy mornings with your favorite hot or cold beverage, a delicious, much needed and deserved breakfast or brunch and the right music to set you in the mood.
