The New York Times described King Princess as a “new kind of rock star”. She carries a certain allure of old-school rock n’ roll cool with suave modern moves, while making it all seem effortless. The multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and singer’s 2018 debut single “1950” was an overnight smash hit with over 300 million streams to date. King Princess is the Tilda Swinton of music, you can’t get enough of her and whatever she does it’s ultimately straightforward and good.

Her newest video “Pain” directed by Quinn Wilson (who also happens to be Lizzo’s creative director), features Stella Maxwell and Kilo Kish. “PAIN,” produced by King Princess with Mark Ronson, Shawn Everett and Mike Malchicoff, is a fast rhythm, melody and beats song. Throw in some subtle sexiness, the video accompanies all those elements.
