Calpak is Hiring a Freelance Graphic Designer (Los Angeles)
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Freelance Graphic Designer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in designing emails and pop-ups that drive engagement and conversion. This role will report to the Sr. CRM & Loyalty Manager and will work closely with colleagues in the marketing department and across the organization to drive incremental lifts in site traffic from emails and subscriber sign-ups to achieve customer retention goals.

REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience in graphic design with a strong focus on email and pop-up design
Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other design and prototyping tools. Klaviyo is a plus
Pixel perfect attention to detail
Proactive problem solver who can troubleshoot and/or escalate issues effectively
Ability to manage all tasks effectively with fluctuating timelines and deliverables
Have an entrepreneurial spirit and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, fluid environment
Proven success in working cross-functionally with all levels and effectively communicating/presenting
Detail-oriented, "can do" attitude, and passionate about growth in a fast-paced environment
A highly collaborative, driven, and team-oriented individual who is comfortable with new situations and highly iterative projects
DTC and/or fashion and apparel experience is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design email communications and website pop-ups, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign goals
Collaborate with the retention team and other cross-functional teams to enhance email and pop-up strategies, driving improvements in traffic and subscriber sign-ups
Create innovative design concepts and ideas, producing compelling and meaningful work
Ensure projects deliver a functional and engaging user experience while adhering to the brand's guidelines and aesthetic standards
Coordinate with creative and marketing teams to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality campaigns
Provide constructive design feedback and present work to internal teams
Provide any additional support as needed
Have full ownership of the graphic process from initial concept to completion through task, time, design, and feedback management
