Miista is Hiring a Copywriter (London)
Miista was founded in 2010 in London’s East End by Galician born Laura Villasenin. The brand was launched with the intention to play with shapes and materials without sacrificing quality, wearability or price - and have been designing shoes from its East London studio ever since. Miista unites Laura’s nostalgia of her rural Spanish heritage with a modernist female sentiment, translating cinematic, surreal, and retrospective inspirations into timeless styles rendered in Italian leathers and unexpected materials.
This newly created position at Miista will work across content, e-commerce, and editorial departments with a focus on carrying the brand's tone of voice into our multiple digital and physical platforms.
REQUIREMENTS
Fluent in English (native level)
Good writing style that is precise, adaptable, and inspiring, with an impeccable use of grammar
Knowledge and love of fashion at all levels with an interest in general culture, politics and arts.
Able to work independently
Able to work quickly and to agreed daily targets and deadlines
Comfortable with digital work in a CMS environment.
In-house experience writing copy for a fashion or lifestyle brand
Experience researching and reporting fashion and culture journalism
RESPONSBILITIES
Write editorial and technical product descriptions that reflect our brand's Tone of Voice
Develop all copy (from editorial, newsletters, website, and social media)
Research industry-related topics and identify gaps in our content
Work with the creative team to prioritize and implement creative, ad copy, beta tests, and landing page tests
Using SEO practices to optimize content
Edit and fact-check pieces of content generated by colleagues
Press releases for our seasonal collections.
Support wholesale partnerships with copy for marketing collaborations.
