Oscar de la Renta is seeking a Junior Graphic Designer for our corporate office in New York City. This role is temp to perm and reports to the Director, Creative and Social Media. This role is located in our midtown NYC office and in office Monday - Friday.
REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of experience working for a luxury fashion brand
Proficient and advanced in Adobe including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, bridge, Lightroom; (knowledge of premiere is a plus)
Works well under pressure and on tight deadlines
Expert knowledge of typography and grid systems
A solid creative portfolio that features typography work with photography
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized and able to multi-task while working in a fast paced environment
Well versed in both print and digital design
Working knowledge of print production
Solution oriented thinking and attitude
RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the guidance of the Director, manage multiple projects to execute design decisions and clear and consistent communication of the brand
Create web graphics and marketing collateral consistent with the brand’s image and guidelines
Plan project timelines and work effectively
Photo Editing
Color correcting, silhouetting
Email and SMS campaigns
Department file management
Print invitations and lookbooks
Digital invitations and lookbooks
Website updates
Fashion presentation preparation
Fashion presentation photography during castings
Introductory Package Design
