Ruggable is Hiring a Freelance Art Direction Coordinator (Los Angeles)

We are seeking a freelance Art Direction Coordinator to support the execution of art direction during pre-production and on-set photo and video shoots for our campaigns. This person will report to the Art Director and work closely with sourcing inspiration, coordinating props/wardrobe, on-set styling, and photo/video production. This is a contractor role which will require 40 hours of work weekly.

Compensation: $29/hr, 40hrs/week

REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong passion for interior design, fashion, social media trends, pop culture and have an overall understanding of current industry related trends

  • Experience in interior design or fashion industries

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Proficient in deck creation, presentation skills, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects at once

  • Available for communication and work during business hours

  • Locally based in Los Angeles

  • Light Photoshop experience

  • 2-3 years minimum experience

Preferred:

A degree in Art, Design, Visual Communications, or related field (preferred)

Prior internship or relevant experience is a plus but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Compile and prepare materials for campaign production shoots under the direction of Art Director & Creative Directors for each campaign

  • Source relevant inspo imagery that is driven by the campaign creative direction and brand visual identity for our photo shot lists

  • Create moodboards, wardrobe decks, location decks, styling and propping decks for shoots

  • Manage sourcing and organization of prop library

  • Source and/or review locations tailored to each campaign

  • Source relevant wardrobe and props fitted to each campaign

  • Support art director with on-set art direction and related tasks on photo and video shoots

  • Balance multiple creative projects at the same time

  • Collaborate with art and creative directors along with the social media and production team
