3 Brands To Wear for Feel Good Fashion
by Zara Khan
Switching from fast fashion to sustainable fashion can be tricky. It is hard to let go of some things, like when you find the latest seasonโs trend for $30 and not $150. This is why I suggest investing in your wardrobe. Buying a piece that is timeless is worth the price tag, you know youโre paying for the quality and feeling good because it is not fast fashion.
REFORMATION
Dreamy pieces that are sported from Hailey Baldwin all the way to โKaia Gerberโ (two fashion icons).
Reformation is ethereal because it sells everything you need in your wardrobe. Their jeans are cute, comfy, and charismatic - and always have a โunique touchโ to them.
COS
COS is lowkey, minimalistic, and a place to shop for basics. Their color palette is neutral and they give off immense cool energy. Their sweaters are going to become your go-to look with their immaculate silhouettes and their jackets are Canada-proof (that means you can wear them in really cold weather).
PATAGONIA
Patagonia is a well known, thoughtful and accomplished brand, but we must highlight it to reinforce all the work they are doing. Great jackets and great sustainability practices? We love to see it. I love that you can buy a Patagonia jacket and keep it for years, recycling it every winter. Everything is a 10/10 for me.
Still not convinced? Try thinking of it this way. If I spend $150 on fast fashion, I could probably buy a lot, but how long till those pieces rip, get messed up, or I get bored of them? Sustainable clothing is going to change our ways, making us consume less (as we should) and consume smartly and consciously. One piece that will stay in our wardrobe for a long time and make us feel good - both environmentally and fashionably.
