Maryam Nassir Zadeh took us on a summer holiday, on a Greek island as that is where the designer summered and drew inspiration from. MNZ spring- summer 2023 collection breezed by with the color palates of the Mediterranean sand and waters using reworked fabrics from archival designs and blended in with new basics.
“The theme of the season is about revival and mixing old and new. It’s about coming full circle and fusing the past with the present. My intention was to draw on what feels significant and dear after all the years and mix it with what is current,” she said to Women’s Wear Daily.
The designer stayed on vacation mode while creating this collection of easy to throw on pieces for hot concrete summers in July or if you’re sweltering leisurely on a Greek island.
