'Big Bad Wolf' a short film by Manon Macasaet // DNAMAG

Manon Macasaet the 18 year old New York City artist recently debuted her short film that she wrote and directed Big Bad Wolf, My Recent Experience With Romance . The almost seven and a half minute film stars Macasaet herself as she finds love sitting in the park one day. Wolf meets girl, girl falls in love with wolf and soon enough they share a milkshake with two straws gone sour. We wonder how true of a past romance does this mini love story mimic. Although just like writers, most artists and filmmakers create from what they know.

In the last year we’ve watched Macasaet produce campaigns for streetwear brands X-Girl and Stüssy. A definite up-and-comer who’s talented not just behind the photo and cinematic lens, but also in front of it. Already anticipating the next short film on the horizon.
