Mini Skincare Review: For Your Eyes Only
In these mini reviews, two products will be presented that have been personally tested completely, in fact these products were photographed as empty bottles. Without going into full background of the brandโs message or product info will just dive into the following points:
the productโs star ingredients
1 pro thing about the product
1 con thing about the product
Is the price worth the purchase?
Would I buy this again?
DIOR * CAPTURE TOTALE SUPER POTENT EYE SERUM * $80
Favorite Ingredients: Niacinamide (Vitamin B-3, restores moisture loss), jasmine flower extract and rye extract to tone and firm skin
Pro: It works okay. To be honest, I wasnโt wowed after using for 3 weeks. Still, I wasnโt dissatisfied with the product. I liked the tech designed wand, it allowed for a smooth application around and under the eyes. It does depuff the eyes in the morning.
Con: It just didnโt wow me. It did get rid of morning puffiness, but not so much the under eye bags.
Worth the price? No. If youโre looking for relief of dark circles, I canโt say that this will help.
Repurchase? This was a gifted item from Influenster, but after using it for a month, I would not purchase it at that price point.
THE ORDINARY * MULTI-PEPTIDE LASH AND BROW SERUM * $14.50
Favorite ingredients: All 3 peptides, because whatever they are it really works.
Pro: It works and it works well and fast. I noticed results almost immediately - brow hairs began growing thicker and darker. By the end of the 2nd week, I was barely filling in any bare spots.
Con: As much as it worked wonders on my eyebrows, it did nothing for my starving eyelashes.
Worth the price? Yes, itโs affordable and gives good results.
Repurchase? Yes, I plan on trying this for a second trial to see how thick my brows can get and to see if thereโs any hope for my poor lashes.
