Miu Miu's Short Film 'That One Day'

As part of Miu Miu's "Women's Tales" project, the brand enlisted director Crystal Moselle of 'Wolfpack' to give us a film about girls who skate. The short film introduces new 18-year-old actress and skater, Rachelle Vinberg who finds herself running around the Lower East Side and Chinatown with an all girls skate crew. The crew is actually a legit group of girls called The Skate Kitchen who finds an instant friendship with Rachelle, who prior to meeting up with them was going through all sorts of teenage feels. This dreamlike film takes me back to my own youth when nothing makes sense, but when you find your crowd it's a great feeling to have.  That and skating around wearing Miu Miu. 🍉
