AG Jeans is Hiring a Graphic Designer (Los Angeles)
AG Jeans is a premium denim and apparel brand that is seeking an experienced and creative Graphic Designer to join our team. As a Graphic Designer, you are part of a team responsible for creating assets for our e-commerce platform, email newsletters, social media, display, retail, print, and additional assets as needed. The role is also responsible for image asset management, using your creative expertise to ensure on-brand continuity across all digital imagery and video components, and executing post-production workflows. The Graphic Designer should have in-depth knowledge of the digital space, an understanding of Adobe Creative, along with an attention to detail and strong time management skills.
This role will report into the Director of ECommerce and will work collaboratively with the Senior Graphic Designer as well as the Creative Director, Ecommerce, Retail, and Marketing teams. We are looking for a Graphic Designer who not only has a strong sense of layout, typography and composition, but also has experience working with images, understands photography and post-production. Additionally, this person must feel very comfortable with retouching, light matching, color grading and color correcting.
This is a full-time, in-person position.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field
3+ years of experience in web design, with a portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles, typography, and user experience
Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
Knowledge of web development best practices, including mobile responsiveness and accessibility
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, marketers, and product designers
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Experience working with a content management system
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment
Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting
Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Experience in fashion apparel is a plus
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain the company's visual and creative brand presence, as well as lifestyle message across all sales and marketing channels.
Obtain input from managers to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company or client appropriately.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web design and user experience.
Elevated eye for design, layout, typography and ability to adhere to brand guidelines.
Create various asset types including, but not limited to: Email design layouts and provide assets for scheduling
Assets for homepage and landing pages
Social assets including Instagram stories, IGTV, and Reels
Display and other digital assets
Branded materials as needed
Color corrects and retouch garment images as needed, both on-model and product detail
Ensure on-brand continuity with garments, lighting, and color consistency across the e-commerce and digital platforms
