Currently hiring for a Social Media Marketing Manager to support the Global Social and Content Marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a background in social media content marketing and the ability to be flexible and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the VP, Global Content Marketing OR Manager, Content Marketing.
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years’ experience in a marketing and social media content strategy and creation, preferably in beauty
Possess a deep knowledge of social media trends and the culture surrounding both established and emerging platforms
Avid user of social networking sites like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, with solid understanding of the current feature set of each platform with an eye to new product features
Strong understanding of TikTok & Short-Form Content from how to conceptualize, understand, and manipulate trends in the space to accommodate to the page aesthetic
Ability to deliver engaging creative content (imagery, copy, and video)
Multitasking and analytical skills
Possess videography and editing skills for socially native content
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience
Strong proficiency managing social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.)
Expert understanding of writing mechanics and English grammar with strong social copy writing experience and ability to master brand tone/voice
Familiarity with social media KPIs and reporting tools.
High proficiency in Google Suite (Slides) and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint)
Exceptional written communication skills with keen attention to detail
Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
Proactive with a positive “can do” attitude no matter the task at hand
Creative thinker to help drive exciting, disruptive content and campaigns

Preferred Qualifications
High proficiency in Canva, social mobile editing apps, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and photography/video experience a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Help support the ideation, execution, and delivery of strategic content across the brand’s digital ecosystem, including brand .com, retailer .com, social platforms, and global digital 360 programs to increase awareness, engagement, and revenue goals
Produce content for US and global markets in collaboration with cross functional partners regions: EU, UK, AU, APAC, CAN, LATAM
Stay on top of all social and content trends, create viral content for marketing use, and implement online marketing strategies through social media accounts
Experience delivering social-first content for global prestige retailer partners: Sephora, Cult Beauty, Harrods, Selfridges, etc.
Support the creation of the editorial content calendar across all brand ecosystem (Instagram, Tik Tok, YouTube, Facebook, paid media), telling seasonal and impactful stories
Lead evergreen content across social channels (organic and paid) including sourcing or creating content, managing social photoshoots, and creative development
Collaborate cross-functional teams to create timelines for deliverables and projects and set internal deadlines
Highly proficient with simple table top setups on a variety of cameras and can demonstrate this with your portfolio
A background in photography, videography or design and pride yourself on having a great eye
Execute digital content production shoots throughout the entire process, from Pre-Production to Post. You own the full process from shoot to final asset - you’re 50% Creative 30% Photographer 20% Designer
Stay abreast of global content competitive brand activity and trends, help conduct competitive analysis, assess new competitive product launches, and create presentation materials as needed and drive creation of internal presentations
Content Creation: Comfortable on-camera, ideate and produce content production e.g. Instagram, IG Stories, IG Reels, TikTok, included but not limited to producing quality images and video content
Identify, build relationships with and brief content creators in alignment with our goals and strategy
Responsible for concepting, shooting, and editing video for omnichannel content for brand eco-system
Owns content production timeline and communicates and partners closely with cross functional teams
Manage day-to-day scheduling and publishing of editorial content on social to help support, delivering focused content to target audiences
Track social media performance (follower growth, engagement rates, sales revenue, etc.) on a weekly basis
Awareness of emerging technologies and platforms and is passionate about social media and up-to-date with new filming and editing techniques
