The Technical Designer will support the Product team with all technical construction elements in the development of Knix's product offerings. You will use knowledge of patterns and fit to adapt creative designs into actual products.

REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast pace environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Passionate, highly organized, detail oriented and ability to problem solve.
Strong knowledge of patternmaking, construction and fit
Proficient using Adobe Illustrator
Demonstrated ability to draft accurate technical sketches
Proficient using Microsoft suite, particularly Excel MS word
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
Strong numeracy skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Minimum 5 years' experience in technical design
Minimum 3 years’ experience in intimates’ category
RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiate technical specification & technical packs for the entire Knix lifestyle products
Ensure tech packs are up to date throughout the development process.
Communicate with vendors regarding specs, fits, and construction.
Understand the fit and style of each product to ensure development is held to Knix's quality standard.
Review specs and measurements of Proto, and Size Run samples against specifications for fit, construction and quality.
Assist Design Director in creating technical sketches.
Support the Sr. Manager, Technical Design with coordination and execution of fittings as required.
Organize, distribute and collect feedback for wear testing of development samples.
