OSEA is a vegan, cruelty free, plant-based seaweed skin & body care. A family business since 1996, a mother-daughter duo, Jenefer and Melissa Palmer, Osea draws inspiration from the ocean, sun, earth and atmosphere. Hailing from a long tradition of healers who valued the wisdom of nature, they were inspired in particular by the healing benefits of seaweed.
Currently looking for a dynamic designer who believes in Osea’s mission to deliver non-toxic, plant-based skincare and bodycare. The Junior Graphic Designer’s primary role will be to support the design team to complete projects across a variety of platforms including emails, social media, video, website, print and beyond. This job also requires Video Editing skills for short videos and ads.
REQUIREMENTS
1-2 years of professional experience
Ability to maintaining design integrity and consistency
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, and Premiere
Ability to edit short videos
Impeccable time management skills and the ability to take feedback and iterate swiftly
Self-motivated and eager to learn
A personal interest in wellness and any experience in the natural beauty/wellness industry is a major plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the design team with all projects, including but not limited to:
Designing consumer-facing marketing communications including emails, social media assets, website collateral and printed marketing materials
Designing in-house collateral, including team newsletters, wholesale manuals and training guides, as well as any other internal communications needed
Photography and video editing to support in-house and external content creators
Assisting with shoot prep, planning and post-production
Packaging design support
Organization of all design assets and platform-specific iterations
