Solange at NYFW

It seems to be a fact of life--Solange can do no wrong sartorially. Or musically, for that matter. Everything she creates pulls on my lil art student heart strings. From her color palettes to her use of clothing as performance art--she truly embodies her own artistic vision. That being said, it's really no surprise that we think Solange had one of the best street style looks of NYFW while performing at Maryam Nassir Zadeh's equally stunning guerrilla show on Tuesday. You would think that pairing a slightly boxy top with more loose fitting pants would end up looking less modern and more frumpy, but the proportions really make it work. The fact that the top is cropped/tied above the waist provides that much needed break in form.
