Why We Watch Morning Routine Vlogs
What is so brilliant about creating a “morning routine” video (vlog) is the fact that it is encouraging. Being a morning person is very attainable. However, a morning person is not defined as someone who wakes up at sunrise. A morning person is one who has found a way to manage priorities at the start of their day.
Why do we get sucked in to “morning routine” vlogs? In the similar vein of GRWM (get ready with me) vlogs, the topics of showing ‘how I get it done’ is an intriguing factor, because it’s insightful and in our highly evolved digital culture, we are nothing but curious creatures. What we gain from these vlogs are anecdotes on how to get up and start your day every morning. Perhaps, something that this vlogger is doing, could be something that I can incorporate into my own daily routine. For example, the idea of journaling in the morning had never crossed my mind until I was able to see someone (whom I can relate to) do it.
Aren’t we always trying to better ourselves? We ride whatever the current wave of self care promotion is, the truth is, we want to be motivated and need to be inspired. The following vlogs are a variety of different girls on different schedules, some on different paths of work or school life. Any routine takes practice, so it’s not that these videos are staged to purposely appear to make mornings any easier.
In reality, every kind of morning is a struggle. It’s how you choose to navigate yourself mentally, spiritually and physically to achieve what you need to that day.
