Cos is Hiring a Senior Print Designer - 12 month contract (London, UK)

As a Senior Print Designer, you will deliver prints and surface concepts with customer segments, brand ID in mind. You will be responsible for executing the vision for artworks and surfaces for your department, with a clear understanding of the COS customer and our brand aesthetics.

This is a full time temporary 12 month contractbased at our Head Office in London.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Extensive experience as a Print Designer ideally within Womenswear 

  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop). 

  • Experience leading teams and managing workflow. 

  • Great understanding of print design, colour, textile & materials. 

  • A genuine interest and understanding of the COS brand. 

  • A high level of fashion awareness and current trends.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering the seasonal vision in a clear and inspiring way. 

  • Collaborate with all functions in the design team, lead an efficient information and workflow process and contribute towards long- and short-term goals. 

  • Guide, involve, inspire and develop Junior Print Designers, challenge them to design and act with confidence. 

  • Develop print programs for all product types. 

  • Work with the buying and design team and deliver a balanced print offer across the whole season and within individual blocks and concepts. 

  • Source and drive the development of fabrications and printing techniques, through a high level of awareness of current trends. 

  • Communicate the department goals and results throughout the organization as required. 

  • Research thoroughly before the seasonal direction workshop and bring ideas suitable for the COS aesthetics. 

  • Source and develop new printing techniques, fabric bases and fabric manipulations and seek out future design trends and develop/adapt new ways of working.
