Frank and Oak Hiring Lead Copywriter (Montreal)

Frank and Oak was founded in 2012 by Ethan Song and Hicham Ratnani on principles of quality essentials and personalized experience. In this role, you will lead the storytelling and concept creation for advertising campaigns and product launch assets and to integrate our brand pillars across all communication channels.  By doing so, you will help build a strong and unique brand voice and experience through different touchpoints.  

REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7 years of relevant experience

  • Bilingualism

  • Interest in sustainability and innovations

  • Experienced in brand/storytelling from an ad agency or other premium brands

  • Experienced in journalism

  • A strategic mindset to create exciting, informative and educational content

  • Strong voice, able to provide direction for all copy

  • Energetic and self-motivated

  • Strong leader and ability to collaborate

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Research, write and edit clear, compelling and engaging marketing copy for various channels such as website pages, product listings, blog posts, print and online advertisement, newsletters and presentations

  • Maintain a brand voice that’s consistent with company’s values and directed to our target audience

  • Oversee all marketing assets and ensure 100% accuracy including headlines, grammar, spelling, and punctuation by adhering to brand and stylistic guidelines

  • Review and edit content from freelancers to ensure that it is up to the company’s quality standards

  • Work closely with product design team and actively participate in brainstorming sessions surrounding product launches

  • Support social media team for social captions and ensure brand voice is coherent across channels

  • Manage and coach our junior copywriter
