Hello Sunshine is Hiring a Social & Community Manager (NYC)
Hello Sunshine is seeking a highly motivated and skilled freelance Social and Community Manager for Sol.ar, a story-led social and creative agency built upon Hello Sunshine’s expertise in premium storytelling, brand building, community cultivation and an unparalleled understanding of the female consumer. Sol.ar creates audience-first, platform-specific immersive experiences at the center of content, community and commerce that uniquely empower brands to tell stories that drive impact, create culture and deeply connect with consumers.
The Social and Community Manager will ideate & execute content, video and photo needs, assist with channel management, research trends (and relevant ways to join), and oversee competitive analysis, reporting and audience sentiment. You’ll develop relevant partnerships and be the eyes and ears for the community. This role is perfect for a social media savvy manager and creator who has 3-5 years of experience overseeing content creation and communities for talent, lifestyle brands in the parenting or baby space.
This Social Media Manager will create shot lists, ideate concepts, create content from existing assets, as well as be on the ground capturing social-first video, photo, and supporting content, as needed. We’re looking for someone who possesses strong creator and editing skills, with the capacity for socially native content as well; someone who is a constant source of innovation and creativity; and can stay on the pulse of trends and the competitive landscape. You’re both a big ideas person and highly organized. You’re eager to conceptualize new ideas, be nimble in execution, and you’re able to brainstorm so that content stays fresh, exciting, and creative. Additionally, you listen closely to the audience to see what they’re saying or asking for and can use data to tell a social story.
