Staud is Hiring a Junior Graphic Designer - Temp/PT (Los Angeles)

The Junior Graphic Designer role supports the Graphic Design team via assistance in the execution of design work according to the visual language of STAUD and maintenance & organization of assets, templates, and creative files.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)

  • Proficient in Figma or at least willing and able to learn quickly

  • Basic video editing skills are a bonus (Adobe Premiere and/or After Effects) 

  • Ability to multitask/time manage and manage competing priorities efficiently

  • Ability to take constructive feedback and make edits as needed 

  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast paced work environment 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to adapt to new situations quickly

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Standing and sitting for extended periods of time.

  • Lifting up to 25 pounds in a safe and prudent manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in the design and production of newsletters, text layouts, and social media posts

  • Proficient in WRIKE / ownership of WRIKE system and assisting GFX team

  • Assisting in updating and managing all edits to assets 

  • Follow established templates while maintaining high-quality execution across web, print, packaging, and ad designs as needed 

  • Maintaining and organizing design assets, templates, and creative files for easy access and use by the team.

  • Supporting the creation of visually appealing presentation decks for internal or external use.

  • Preparing design files for print, ensuring specifications like bleed, resolution, and color profiles meet printing standards.

  • Collaborate closely with the graphic design team and art director to bring creative concepts to life

  • Manage time effectively while juggling multiple projects and deadlines 

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure the quality of final deliverables

  • Participating in brainstorming sessions with the team to develop fresh ideas and design concepts

  • Assisting with typography choices, ensuring proper alignment, spacing, and visual hierarchy in layouts for print and digital content.
