Nigerian-American singer/songwriter Ogi recently debuted her first single “I Got It” produced by Grammy winning producer No I.D. who has worked with Rihanna, Jay Z, and Kanye West. Ogi’s soulful style most likely stems from her background in jazz choir and musical education throughout high school and at Northwestern University. She describes the lyrics as “subtweets to other people.”

British singer/songwriter Joy Cookes writes about life in South London whose jazz club vocal stylings is often paired with guitar and piano. “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now” is a hypnotic, smoky room melody that she wrote in light of the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020.
