Bocce's Bakery Is Hiring Social Media Content Creator (NYC)
Bocce’s was founded in 2010 in a West Village kitchen with a mixer, an oven, and a scruffy mutt named Bocce with the belief that dogs deserve better. Better food with fresher, simpler, all-natural ingredients, and lots of treats! Bocce’s treats can now be found nationally – stocked in independent pet stores across the US, retailers such as Target, Petco, Chewy, and specialty locations such as Shake Shack.
REQUIREMENTS
1-2+ years of direct social media experience (DTC brand experience preferred)
Exceptional videography and photography skills
A passion for TikTok—you find yourself scrolling for hours each night (a bonus!)
Creative eye and design aesthetic with excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills
Must be comfortable on-camera for both photo and video
Deep knowledge of hashtag and engagement strategy
Thrives in a fast-paced, team-centric environment
Up to date on lifestyle and pet industry trends
Must love dogs (& treats!)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ideate and create optimized and platform-specific content with an emphasis on video for all social platforms, including Instagram and TikTok
Plan and prepare TikTok content calendar to share regularly with Marketing Manager
Produce 8x+ videos per week in alignment with our TikTok and IG Reels strategy—which includes creating a brief, writing a script, acting as on-camera talent, plus creating copy for on-screen text and editing videos for TikTok / IG Reels best practices
Keep content fresh and relevant by preparing weekly and monthly reporting insights
Maximize engagement and growth, constantly evaluating performance, benchmarking against competitor content, and pivoting strategy in response to data indicators
Consistently monitor the competitive landscape and best practices to stay ahead of social media trends, exploring new content opportunities and adjusting as needed
