Daily Harvest is Hiring an Associate Social Media Content Creator (New York)
Daily Harvest is looking for a resident Social Media Content Creator to create thumb stopping content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, on organic and paid channels. They will take our social content to the next level by unlocking the ability to create short form, snackable content for Daily Harvest's owned social media channels.
The Social Media Content Creator will work closely with the brand marketing and creative teams to create and edit light-weight, short form content. They will also be responsible for creating original video content for existing series as well as developing net new series and assets. This content includes utilizing both existing and new footage–either shot by the Social Media Content Creator or another member of the video team. They will also adapt existing social content for other platforms like YouTube. The ideal candidate will be a self starter, creative thinker, able to pivot on a dime and juggle multiple projects at once. This position will report to the Senior Director of Communication, Social, & Community.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000. Actual compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.

REQUIREMENTS
Extremely knowledgeable about Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and quick to adapt to new emerging platforms
Interested in social platforms and data
A great communicator – able to give and receive feedback in a small team environment
Detail oriented, meticulously organized, and creative at the same time
Independent and can work autonomously but also adept at collaborating with others
Comfortable working both behind and in front of the camera
NYC-based but also excited to travel when necessary
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with brand marketing and creative teams to develop, produce, and flight engaging content that resonates across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube
Shoot live and edit content that can be cut and used across multiple platforms
Work with a library of existing footage to create assets that are optimized for cross channel use
Gather user generated content from social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and YouTube
Obtain and manage agreements with outside content creators
Manage content creator network
Stay up to date on emerging trends across platforms and report to the social team
Quickly iterate off of successful/trending content
Organize assets and footage for cross departmental use
Ability to identify content that represents marginalized voices and communities
Ability to manage social content production monthly budget
Attend editorial shoots to capture BTS to optimize for social
Be proficient in social media and aware of current trends on the platforms. You will also be able to jump in on other video projects as needed across other areas of the business.
Report to the Senior Director of Communication, Social, & Community within the marketing department
