As the Video Content Creator, you will create social media & digital content that connects with audiences and moves the brand forward. This role combines a passion for video, the beauty industry and social media. This is an incredibly important role as it will be key in bringing the brand to life with engaging content across multiple social media channels.

REQUIREMENTS
Proficient in video capture, video editing, graphic design, motion graphics, and color correction.
Well versed in cinematography and film.
Video camera operating expertise with DSLRs, etc. including separate audio recording. Operating experience with Alexa or Red camera is a plus.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Ability to troubleshoot technical issues such as video file formats, digital memory storage, etc.
Excellent design aesthetic.
Past experience creating & producing digital social media content.
Strong understanding of social media, trending topics & most importantly the current beauty landscape and Milk Makeup competitors.
Strong work ethic with exceptional project management & organizational skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work efficiently and effectively.
Collaborative, team oriented but also capable of working independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as primary content creator and editor for Milk Makeup brand and social content.
Produce video content for all owned social media channels and paid media.
Work closely with Art Director and other content creators to understand specific brand art direction including lighting, direction and composition.
Deep understanding of beauty video lighting, product application, and product payoff.
Work closely with Director of Social Media to understand strategic objectives and implement to drive business.
Responsible for the maintaining the organization and integrity of our in-house studio - building and breakdown of lighting set-ups, loose set design, and manage equipment organization and inventory.
Produce eye-catching brand video content for 360 media across dotcom, emails, product pages, Instagram, TikTok, FB and YouTube, ensuring constantly increasing engagement and VTR
Edit mostly short form (:30-2:00 min) videos covering a range of content that fills each brand bucket, ensuring content brings Milk Makeup spirit alive through motion graphics, sound effects, and more.
Create platform-specific content (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter) as part of monthly/year-long content calendars that ladder up to the overarching channel strategies.
Collaborate with the Director of Social Media and Analytics, Chief Creative Officer, Art Directors and Designers, Editorial Creative Director + Director of Creative Operations on brand building content that drives acquisition & engagement across channels.
Brainstorm & partner closely with teams to develop relevant + new content ideas/strategies to stay ahead of the ever-changing social landscape.
Manage multiple, concurrent projects and maintain schedules to meet deadlines.
In partnership with social team, significantly grow the Milk Makeup social media channels per goals outlined by Director + CMO.
Moderate user-generated content and develop social conversations in partnerships with Community Managers and social media team members.
