Shopbop is Hiring Social Media Coordinator (NYC)

Currently looking for a creative, innovative, organized and data-driven Social Media Coordinator to lead the scheduling, management and reporting of organic social media content. This position will work in partnership with brand marketing and the creative team collaborators to oversee the creation and curation of social first content across Shopbop’s owned social channels. This role will be responsible for community management on social channels, and will surface customer learnings and opportunities from our customers on social.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree
2+ years of social media experience in creating and managing social content
Ability to partner cross-functionally with a wide range of stakeholders
Passionate about the Shopbop brand and the fashion space
Excellent written communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with social tracking tools including Sprinklr, and Dash Hudson, as well as native platform tools.
Deep analysis experience.
iPhone and DSLR photography & video editing experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and brief the monthly social content calendar, encompassing IG feed, stories and IGTV and produce a monthly content schedule that brings to life Shopbop’s seasonal brand narrative and aligns with the greater social strategy. This will support site content (brand launches, front-page stories, etc), marketing initiatives (brand, loyalty, int’l) and paid social opportunities.
Efficiently manage the social content production process, and plan how each piece of social content will be sourced, while constantly optimizing content for performance and brand rightness.
Authentically deliver on a Shopbop brand social experience that conveys our Fashion POV and aesthetic, is relatable to our diverse customer base, and recognizes our followings’ interest inclusive of and beyond style.
Create unique social specific content from scratch in collaboration with key social partners across the creative and brand marketing teams. Shoot and edit fashion and lifestyle content
Drive Shopbop awareness by constant review and optimization of content performance.
Collaborate with influencer marketing team to curate brand-right content from relevant and brand-propelling influencers
Analyze performance of social content—present findings and best practices on a weekly and monthly basis. Surface learnings on content performance, as well as sentiment via Community Management as the “Voice of the Customer on Social” to iterate on content and social message led by customer obsession.
Own community management schedule and process to actively engage with our customer on social, and to build an active Shopbop community on social platforms.
Follow and report on trends, launches and new products within the broader social media landscape—eagerly test and explore new opportunities and bring learnings to broader team
