Oak + Fort is Hiring a Graphic Designer (Vancouver, BC)

As the Graphic Designer, you will be working as a key member of the Marketing Team. You will play a pivotal role in generating print and digital design assets including but not limited to: brand graphics, packaging design, email newsletters, promotional campaigns, photo editing, apparel graphics, internal presentations and beyond. You will work cross- departmentally to support our Production, Design, E-commerce and Retail teams to create print and digital design solutions for a variety of applications. REQUIREMENTS

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design or a similar capacity

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Ilustrator, Indesign and Lightroom

  • Experience working in the fashion and/or retail industry is an asset

  • Experience optimizing images for web and photo-editing

  • Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team

  • Proven ability to work with a cross-functional team and collaborate

  • Ability to multi-task and remain composed in a fast-paced environment

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines

  • Positive attitude with great enthusiasm

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond to new briefs in creative ways.

  • Create multi-media design solutions for print, signage, packaging, presentations and other print applications.

  • Maintain positive working relationships with external resources (printers, sign makers, etc.)

  • Supervise day-to-day tasks of the Junior Graphic Designer, with leadership from the Senior Creative Manager.

  • Produce digital design assets to support Marketing efforts, including newsletter design, web assets, ads etc.

  • Monitor the results of digital marketing assets and discover findings to share with the team. Strategize for the future.

  • Produce and maintain brand assets for marketing campaigns.

  • Work cross-departmentally with the Ecommerce and Development teams collaboratively on the design of web layouts.

  • Stay informed of current and changing trends in fashion and design.

  • Work with the Senior Creative Manager and Junior Graphic Designer to ensure all deliverables are completed within a timely deadline.

  • Perform other projects as assigned.
