Currently seeking a passionate and motivated Graphic Designer to join our team. This role reports directly into our Head of Marketing. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of graphic design experience, has a forward-thinking and creative sensibility, and has in-depth knowledge of design across digital and print. You will collaborate cross-functionally with the team to manage the graphic design and collateral needs of the brand, with clear attention to detail and strong execution. The role will provide a dynamic opportunity for someone who wants to learn in a fast-growing brand.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2-3 years of work experience designing preferably in-house for a brand or agency for early-stage clients. Have a clear fundamental understanding of layout, typography, photography, design standards, trends and methodologies.
Expert knowledge of most current versions of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, XD and Illustrator); working knowledge of UX, HTML & CSS a plus. Experience or interest in Adobe AfterEffects and motion graphics is a plus.
Photography, ability to capture UGC and motion graphic skills are a plus*
An excellent design portfolio that demonstrates a keen ability to work cross functionally and keep up with current design trends.
Must have the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; willingness to contribute to copy and ideate within marketing goals
Requires adaptability, enthusiasm, initiative and a positive approach to problem solving.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Act as source of truth for all branded touch points and contribute to review of externally generated designs or collateral to maintain consistency. Responsible for designing the below within company standards, style and branding.
Email: Design and deliver weekly brand emails using templates and build in Klayvio.
Social: Develop monthly social grids and stories for Instagram inclusive of overarching layout and design graphics.
Website: Build out site banners, landing pages, PDP with site-specific design specifications.
Print: Design print collateral inclusive of in-studio signage, vinyls, flyers, inserts, and ad-hoc brand merchandise - ensuring that it tracks to monthly campaign creative.
Other Brand Assets: Manage external brand assets including brand imagery and design assets used across partnerships and promotions (including Goop, Saks, and more), as well as external brand decks.
Understand and ensure brand identity: Refine images, fonts, and layouts for a cohesive vision and brand consistency across all design properties.
Art Direction
Campaign Development: Develop monthly campaign mood boards to establish brand look and feel.
Photoshoot Direction: Oversee and art direct shoots inclusive of creating shot lists, managing freelancers, casting talent (where applicable) and being on set. Make sure images are optimized for social, web and print.
Project Management
Work cross-functionally with the marketing team to meet creative deadlines.
Maintain asset management tools and trackers (Air and Google Drive).
Keep monthly brand campaign decks up to date.
